The Laughing Gull cottage features two bedrooms: a king bed and a queen bed with luxurious linens, a comfy mattress, plus a queen sleeper sofa. A quick 3-minute stroll to the beach, and the relaxation begins! Enjoy one of our on-site bicycles to explore the key, or take a kayak/SUP to the Gulf or Bay. Unwind in our tropical backyard oasis by one of our wood or gas fire pits. Laundry, BBQ grills, outdoor showers, and everything you need for the beach are provided. Pack your bags and head to the Laughing Gull nest! This unit comfortably sleeps no more than five adults, but with children, it sleeps up to six people. The property has been beautifully renovated in 2025, featuring a newly renovated kitchen, bathroom, new furnishings, and luxury details. A thoughtfully appointed kitchen, dining table, living room with queen-sized sleeper sofa, one king bedroom, and one queen bedroom are among the comforts offered. Savor your morning beverage or evening cocktail on your private screened-in lanai or next to our gas and wood-burning fire pits. We offer other conveniences such as contactless private entry, microwave, range, Keurig coffee maker, and refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi is available. A cable-connected 55” Smart TV in the living room and 40” TVs in each bedroom allow you to view shows using your favorite streaming apps. Other shared amenities include on-site laundry, BBQ grill area, bicycles, and kayaks for your use. We provide beach carts, chairs, umbrellas, beach towels—everything you need to get the most out of your day at the beach, just a short 3-minute walk. In five minutes, you can launch a kayak/SUP in the bay. Grab one of our beach cruiser bicycles (adult-sized) to explore the key or find just the right place to enjoy a spectacular sunset. Paddle around Lemon Bay in one of our kayaks, or Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) offered with your stay. Spend the day fishing off the local pier or walking the beach to find shark's teeth and shells. For a real treat, keep an eye out for dolphins, manatees, and perhaps a sea turtle hatchling making its way to the sea! Conveniently close are our island restaurants, ready to satisfy your culinary cravings. Take our weekend island shuttle so that you can dance the night away to live music at some of our neighborhood establishments. Manasota Key has boat and jet ski rentals and parasailing as well. This cottage is the right side of a very quiet duplex shared with our other unit, the White Pelican. Our property has a second building for a total of four units. Building two has the Piping Plover and the Oystercatcher.
This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed inside cottages, nor on porches or in any outdoor space on the property. Smokers must take a stroll off the property at or beyond the sidewalk to smoke.
